“…like an upturned snow globe!” enthused the country music station as I turned off Wooler road and onto Loyalist Parkway, headed towards our vineyard.
True enough, old man Winter still has the vineyard in his grip, although it’s officially Spring. But good thing for Winter, it gives us a nice breather. After all that rest we are eager to get out in the field and start pruning! Soon enough the vines push their green shoots exuberantly into the air and we will be reflecting on the quietude of Winter as the activity of the Summer arrives.
New challenges this year: We are officially a winery! Now people can buy our wine and share in our dream. Yahoo! I can’t believe we made it this far.
