Many people say they are looking for complexity in wine. But sometimes you don’t want to be trying to understand your wine while you try to understand the conversation.
We get that.
We’re calling our next wine Simplicity.
Our Pinot Noir and Chardonnay get more layered and complex with each vintage. With this wine, we went the other direction. We made it with Vidal grapes which are simple to grow. (To simplify things further, we didn’t even grow them –we bought them from another local vineyard.) We avoided oak and malolactic fermentation, to come up with a clean, bright, easy-drinking summer wine.
